Event Curation
One of my favorite things to do is seek out the talent that brings an event to life—then watch everyone thrive in their element when it all comes together. Community is at the heart of curation; you’re building an experience for people and inviting them into a moment. I love events because everyone is either sharing or learning, a necessary cycle that shapes our path forward. I’ve always felt my creativity wasn’t a choice—the urge arrives when it wants, and I follow it, whether that means painting lizards one day or parrots the next.
As I move through my creative path, I’ve come to understand the importance of a subject—what you choose to focus on and share with the world. In painting, I’m drawn to metaphor, but photography brings me back to reality in its purest form. Capturing moments that deserve to be seen has the power to spread ideas, to spark purpose and curiosity, just as flipping through NatGeo did for me as a little girl. I’ve always been observant, drawn to what is beautiful and moving. Observation and listening remain the strongest ways I connect.
