Foraging Morro Bay

A trip along the Californian coast in search of sea beans. Rebecca Taylor, a food stylist, private chef, and lifestyle artist shared a journey with me creating and exploring the seafood of the Morrow Bay Area.

Rebecca is exactly the reason why I love food photography. She doesn’t only create the visual… she lives it. Our destination was a temporary home of brutalist architecture, hidden in the shadow of a golden hill along the Morrow Bay coastline.

The owner. An organic olive farmer growing Greek Koroneiki olives. I was informed that the peppery, stinging sensation at the back of my throat was evidence of its high-quality. Details that make life worth living for me.

Photographing and collaborating with culinary artists like this you don’t leave the same person. You leave better.
